I love rain; I love the changes in colour, the smell after it has rained and I love how it nourishes the garden. I suppose I haven't always loved it but as I get older, I find myself appreciating more and more things, just like you!

I loved having a dog and having to get out in all weathers, as you say it is how you think about it that makes the difference. I love being out wrapped up in waterproofs. I love the Norwegians saying 'there is no such thing as bad weather, just wrong clothes'!!

Anyway Happy birthday and you have the right attitude about turning 30, Your 30s are a great time in many ways and I know you can do each and every thing on that list!

This is wonderful Chloe, I did the same sort of thing when i turned 50 and it was a wonderful celebration.
Id love to help you with the cake thing if you would like, whether its a recipe or cooking lesson, or whatever you would find useful, I love baking and it is a wonderful thing to smell a cake cooking in the oven and know you are providing a treat for your family!. Go for it!

No.2 Read Born to Run. It will inspire you in so many ways.
No.4 If you can't get to a class, I really enjoy this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gaiam-Trudie-Stylers-Warrior-Yoga/dp/B002RB9JV6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1336482609&sr=8-1
no.24 This will make it a habit: http://happyrambles.com/
no.26 Try Rosie Thomas, Deb Talen and Steve Tannen.

Enjoy the journey; I hadn't even begun it really by then; you have a head start:)
